Power Through Pulse-Mode RF Demands with New MEAN WELL Solutions

Radar and pulse-mode RF systems demand more than standard power supplies can deliver. The MEAN WELL NCP-3200-48CAN-CDI and NSP-3200-48CAN-CDI are engineered for these high-speed, high-peak applications with a 3.2 kW, 48 V pulse-optimized design featuring active droop compensation and a high-speed bulk-capacitance interface. Supporting up to 110 A peak current at 500 μs pulse width and 20% duty cycle with less than 2 V droop, they help deliver cleaner, more stable, and more repeatable pulse performance.

The NCP-3200-48CAN-CDI offers a hot-swappable 1U rack-mount design for serviceable, fault-tolerant systems, while the NSP-3200-48CAN-CDI provides a rugged fixed-mount solder-lug option for harsh installations. Together, they provide a smarter path to stable 48 V power for radar, communications transmitters, defense and aerospace systems, and RF test environments.
