In response to the energy-saving and miniature requirement for electronic end products, MEAN WELL introduced the IRM Series AC/DC miniature encapsulated power supply. With a broad power range from 1W to 90W, the IRM series is available in through hole, SMT or screw terminal options. These new power units feature extremely low no-load power consumption (<0.1W), allowing designs to easily conform to the requirements of ErP norm (Energy-related Products) and EISA of USA for end systems.
The IRM Series feature 85~305VAC full range input and 3.3~48VDC outputs with up to 93% of efficiency. The fully encapsulated packaging provides anti-moisture/dust, anti-vibration, as well as heat-conduction. The IRM series is Class II and has built in EMC filtering components that provide maximum protection from electromagnetic interference. Ideal for applications include general electronic instruments, factory automation, electrical or mechanical equipment, and all usage that requires low no load power consumption.
